Not quite the guy you would see working day and night, yet rather an interesting fellow. Theres a hidden agenda thats clearly stated in his work, push to get his videography career to a head start.
His creativity is ticking like a nuclear bomb, it only takes one production idea to let hit the trigger. Overrated? No, understated. Theres been quite a change in perspective since the early days (2005), moving from a simple "weekend hobbits" to an ambitious addict for more projects to let out the wildest, intrigues, and fascinating ideas.
Entering the 2008 Dubai International Film Festival was one of those steps.
He managed to push his team of two, Vineeth Kumar and Omar Aslam, to new limits. Being offered to enter a 2 Minute Movie contest hosted by MBC2 at the Dubai International Film Festival and without hopes of wining; 60 university and schools across the country participated. Marcel took initiative and payed attention to what he does best, being creative and making do with what he has. A few days later he got a call from his tutor giving him the news he would have to "suit-up" and show himself with the crew at the Dubai International Film Festival, as we managed to place 2nd runner up (BRONZE) award, viewed by over 20 million viewers watching MBC2 as well as international press, it was a "mini-hollywood" moment. This you could say gave him the last push with motivation to proceed in his destined direction.

What music interests you?
"I'm into music that has love and dedication behind it, long hours in the studio, behind the desk with a pen and paper, days practice with the band. I don't despise the new-age music, yet seeing as everything nowadays is adapted from original music, I quite like the first version.
Blues, Country, Rock, Hard Rock, Metal, Jazz, Electronic, are just a few examples. Music that moves, is what excites me the most."
After SAE, whats next?
"Well thats not hard to say, get my self up and rolling into production houses gathering and sharing my own ideas. I'm very impatient, and prefer things to happen yesterday :)"
